Frigorífico Carrasco S.A.
We are proud to present our company, founded more than 60 years ago in the green grasslands of the Uruguay, surrounded by a unique natural environment of wetlands and fields, where the best steers are reared. Thanks our effort and entrepreneurial tradition, we have today become what we are: one of the main meat companies in the region.
Our history
In the late 50s, a group of Uruguayan stockbreeders gathered to found a beef packing plant. Carrasco was thus established, three model establishments located at the most vigorous livestock development region in the country and, one of the best areas in the world for its grasslands and natural water resources.
Today e have a vast experience in cattle slaughter, beef cuts and beef by-products processing and shipping; that have positioned ourselves in the Uruguayan and in the international beef markets.
Customers can rest assured they have chosen a final beef product elaborated in compliance with the highest international quality standards. This is our commitment, because at Carrasco We Know Beef.
